Here is a log that will chronicle the adventures and doings of Team Houston as the time approaches towards E3 and ECC4, and what we have to do to prepare for a good showing... Any names that are usually not recognized will be stated by their full name, after the first mention, the first name will only show.

This will probably be the secoond to last practice session we will have before ecc4, and the last before e3. Everyone who is going to the tourney is gonna show, and hopefully others will show for the practice. I am imagining that 2 tvs will be on at the same time, one with 2i, and the other at ST, HF, or a3. Some people need to focus on some areas, and others in different areas. Personally, my focus is on ST and a3. Alpha 2 in ecc4 should come naturally after playing a little a3., especially with my characters. Time is running out, and I personally feel we need more playing time together if we are to make a good impression at the tourney. Focus on: ALL games

The focus on these playing sessions was going to be on Alpha 3, and 2nd Impact. Six of already have our tickets to ecc4, and at least two more in the works. Not much practice on Alpha 3, because most of the people here love 2i. Everyone showed except for Adrian and James, and a decent practice to say the least.

  • Time is tenative...
Basically, me and Jesse are gonna play at my house, playing the areas we need improvement on. I've been working a lot, and PLUS I missed going to Adrian's place this past Saturday. I have Wednesday off, so I can practice quite a bit in order to catch up with everyone. Me and Jesse have decide we are gonna work on Alpha 3, since basically we are the only ones who will probably be playing that game over at ECC4. And Super Turbo is also a necessity, since Jesse has keep up with ST in order to stay among the elite. I had a chance in Vegas, but SOMEONE didn't call my name when my turn came up and I had to forfeit my match...but that's another story. I could also use the practice in ST.
    Focus: Super Turbo, Alpha 3.

    Adrian's Place
  • April 17, 1999
  • Eh, about 9pm...
Here at Adrian's (Adrian Ross) is a place where Team Houston practices. It is a nice apartment in the nicer side of Houston, where there is a Super Gun, a Playstation with MAS joysticks, and a Dreamcast. Usually there will be two systems on, the Super Gun and the Playstaion. A decision was made that we need to practice as a team, or get the living shit whipped out of us. So the date was set for April 17, as the date indicates. It turns out many people went, with the exception of two people, Mike Zavar, and myself. (Hey, if you had a choice of SF and a beautiful girl, what would you choose? Then again, who am I talking to again?) Adrian, JumpsuitJesse, James Reed, Juan Gonzales, and others. Based on experience, we'd play Alpha 3, Super Turbo, and then 2nd Impact. Usually there is also drinking and trash-talking going on during this time. Saturday's session lasted from 9pm to 4am. Talk about getting burned out! I SHOULD have gone to this, I need the practice, but I also need a social life too, you know (women....Drool...) But it is for next time, I guess. Heh. another reason why I did not go is because there is a (let's say) of a chunky girl who basically wants this webmaster's ball sac. Heh, I refused that only to go out with a fine ass girl who knows how to dance... But she definitely won't be there next time, I'll make sure of that.
Areas where play is stable: 2nd Impact.
Area where play needs improvement: Alpha 3, Super Turbo.
